Baby Jenna

Yesterday we met up with an old friend of mine from high school. She lives about an hour away, but was in the area and asked if we could meet up and take a few pictures of her five month old daughter Jenna. That little girl is so cute, she is definitely a combination of her mommy and daddy. Here are a couple pictures from yesterday, hoping to work on a few more later today.

Kim and Serenity

A couple of weeks ago we met up with our friend Kim and her daughter Serenity. We met Kim at a pinup shoot we did last year with a mutual friend. Kim is just such a down to earth girl, beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Both girls were absolutely a joy to work with and I can't wait to work with them again.

Serenity was a little nervous when we first started.

After a couple of minutes she was a natural.

This is one of my favorite photos of the day. She was such a character.

I had this semi-decent post about what we're doing with our photography when my firefox crashed and didn't save my entry. So for about a week I've been struggling to say what I had written before. I figure if I just write whatever is coming to my mind right now, the trepidation of writing a first entry will diminish and all of my creativity can come back in my next post. Though, I doubt it.

Basically, we've decided to have a fresh start. We were caught up in the world of clubs, raves, dancers, models, and glamour. I had fun doing it, but it always felt like something was missing. I guess it lacked something real.

Nothing beats a good story, a real, true, heartfelt story. I love a great love story and I would love to capture that in photos. Photos that show pieces of a story that could tell itself. I can't wait to get it started
